With a large branch and some hang tags, you can start your own family tradition at the holiday table.
You’ll Need:
1 large branch that you can lean against the wall
Hang tags (store bought or homemade)
1 hole punch
4-6 inches of (small) ribbon
Pen or marker
STEP 1:
Using your favorite cookie cutters, trace shapes onto a piece of construction paper.
STEP 2:
Using a hole punch, create a hole at the top of your shape.
STEP 3:
Run your ribbon through the hole and set aside.
STEP 4:
Set one hang tag on each table place setting, with a pen or a marker (or the table can share).
When everyone sits down at the holiday table, ask them to write what they’re most grateful for on their hang tag. Then go around and let everyone share what they wrote, as they tie their hang tag to the branch. Collect gratitude sentiments for years to come, and look back upon them each holiday!
